These instructions cover the data Scarif One receives from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) when you connect a Facebook Page, an Instagram business account or a Meta ad account — whether you pasted an access token or signed in with Facebook. Section 11 of our Privacy Policy lists exactly what that data is.
1. Stop Scarif One accessing your Meta accounts
In Scarif One
Go to Integrations and choose Disconnect on the Meta card. We delete your stored Meta access token and connection details straight away, so Scarif One can no longer read from or post to your accounts. Your reports, imported posts and ad history stay in your workspace until you ask us to delete them or delete the workspace (section 2).
In Facebook
You can also cut off our access from Meta’s side, which works even if you can’t sign in to Scarif One:
- If you signed in with Facebook: in Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, select Scarif One and choose Remove.
- If you connected through a Meta business portfolio: in Business settings → Integrations → Connected apps, select Scarif One and remove it.
- If you pasted a system-user access token: in Business settings → Users → System users, choose that system user and revoke its tokens.
These menu names are Meta’s and can change; Meta’s Help Centre has the current steps.
2. Have us delete the data we already hold
Delete only your Meta data
Email privacy@scarifone.com from the email address on your Scarif One account, with the subject “Delete my Meta data” and the name of your workspace. We delete everything we received from Meta for that workspace — connection details, imported posts, ad reports and performance history — confirm by email, and finish within 30 days (usually much sooner). Your workspace and everything else in it stay as they are.
Delete your whole workspace
The workspace owner can delete the workspace from the Security page in the dashboard: under Delete tenant data, choose Start deletion, type the workspace name and choose Confirm delete. This permanently wipes everything in the workspace, including all data received from Meta, straight away. It cannot be undone. We keep a short record of the deletion (the time, the workspace, who asked and the IP address they asked from) as proof that it happened.
Backups
Our encrypted backups expire after 30 days, so any copy of deleted data is gone from them within 30 days.
3. Things we sent to Meta for you
Posts, ads, catalogue products, conversion events and audiences that Scarif One created in your Meta accounts belong to those accounts. Deleting your data from Scarif One does not remove them from Meta. You can delete them in Meta: posts on your Page or Instagram account, ads and audiences in Ads Manager, and catalogue products in Commerce Manager. Meta’s own copies are covered by Meta’s privacy policy.
4. If you are not a Scarif One customer
If a business that uses Scarif One sent your details to Meta — for example in a hashed customer list or a purchase event from their shop — that business controls your data. Please contact them first; we will help them act on your request. You can also email privacy@scarifone.com.
5. Questions
Email privacy@scarifone.com. We respond to data requests within 30 days, as UK GDPR requires.
