If you can run a Docker container, you can run Scarif One. The install is one command. We provide a Mac mini guide, a NAS guide, and a VPS guide.

Boot your install, open the URL in a browser — you land on the /install screen automatically. Triple-click the SCARIF-... licence code from your purchase email, paste it in, hit Install licence. Verification is offline (Ed25519, no phone-home), takes about a second. You’re auto-redirected to the 6-step setup wizard. If you prefer the file path: drag the .json attachment from the email onto the form instead.

Three paths, easiest first. (1) At the end of setup we show you a recovery code (format SCARIF-RECOVER-...) — save it next to your licence. Paste it at /operator/reset on your install to set a new password. (2) Lost the recovery code? Shell into the container and run `docker compose exec scarif-one node /app/scripts/operator-reset.mjs --list` to find your username, then `--tenant --username ` to mint a one-time 30-minute reset token. Paste that at /operator/reset instead. (3) Last resort: delete /data/tenants/<slug>/auth.json and re-run setup — you keep your licence, brand profile, integrations, and AI key. Only credentials reset.

A long single-use code you save at the end of setup. Lets you reset your dashboard password without SSH access — paste it at /operator/reset, set a new password, done. Argon2id-hashed on disk; we don’t store a reversible copy. Treat it like a 1Password emergency kit: save it alongside your licence file.

Every API call goes from your install directly to the vendor — Scarif is never in the loop. We have zero visibility into your prompts, your generations, or your AI bill. /spend-caps lets you cap your OWN vendor spend per feature, per window, so a runaway agent can’t drain your Anthropic credit.

Every plan is BYOK — you bring your own Gemini / OpenAI / Anthropic keys and pay the vendors directly, with zero markup from us. There’s no bundled credit allowance and no Gemini bill from Scarif: your AI spend lands on your own Google / OpenAI / Anthropic account, where you can see and cap it. Per-tenant ceilings on per-day spend, per-feature spend, and total monthly spend — on your OWN AI budget. Every Gemini call is wrapped in a budget check that aborts before the call is sent, so your own vendor bill can’t run away. Hit a cap and the system pauses and emails you. No, by design. Even if a background agent runs while you sleep, the spend caps wrap every call. The most it can spend is whatever you’ve set as your daily ceiling on your own AI budget — and because it’s your key, that spend is visible on your provider dashboard in real time.

The platform fails gracefully — generation requests queue up and retry when the API recovers. You can also configure fallback to a different Gemini region or temporarily disable AI features. We’ll notify you of platform-level incidents via the in-app banner + email.

Not if your brand voice doc is good. The AI reads your voice doc as the master prompt before generating anything. Fingerprint of your tone — we generate, you thumbs-up/down, the AI’s memory layer learns over time. Most users say outputs feel native after about a week of feedback.

Always. Every generation is editable. You can rewrite copy, swap images, regenerate specific sections, or scrap it and start over. Nothing publishes without your explicit approval.
